Notes from the Members’ Committee meeting on Monday, May16, 2011:

The Club confirmed that the Lions' match against Sri Lanka A would now be at Scarborough. There was report on player fitness and availability.

ECB proposals for the structure of the domestic game in 2012 were discussed. The Committee emphasised yet again that there should be no reduction in the Championship programme, but there were too many t20 games which made attendance for families in particular prohibitively expensive.

It was suggested that the Club had a great opportunity to market itself through Twitter with over 5,600 now signed up.

The review of Member Forum issues looked at shop opening hours, access to the museum, access to the outfield during lunch and the opening hours of the match-day office, which had been closing at 2pm.
