Notes from the Members’ Committee meeting held on Monday, October 3, 2011

A further debate took place on the pricing and structure of the Membership Option scheme for 2012. It was agreed that the flexibility of the scheme worked well, in that it catered for the various types of games and the limited access that some supporters had. A number of slight changes to the options and pricing were agreed. There were to be no price increases.

Arrangements were discussed for the sale of Test and One-Day International tickets, with priority being made for members to have an early-booking window. The Club reported on discussions taking place on player contracts and other cricket issues.

The issues raised at Member Forums were examined, and the Club reported back on a number of frequently raised topics. There was general agreement that the forums were widely popular with members, so a similar programme of meetings would be arranged for 2012. The Chairman agreed to continue to ask for topics to be of a substantive nature.

It was accepted that the Help Desk to be established next season may well take away some of the more personal issues raised in this wider forum.
