Cheerleading
Yorkshire County Cricket Club provided four community Cheerleading groups with the opportunity to perform at t20 matches throughout the 2010 season. Groups performed pre-match and during the interval to entertain the crowds, gain experience performing at a professional sports club and to promote dance as a form of exercise. Two groups performed live on Sky Sports to gain further exposure.
“Dance is a great way to gain exercise while having fun and is a vital part of many sporting match days now. Yorkshire County Cricket Club hope the groups have enjoyed performing in front of the Headingley crowd and that more people will now get involved in dance activities.”
