Yorkshire Cricket Foundation
The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation is a new charity which seeks to enhance the quality of life, and develop social cohesion of Yorkshire communities by delivering cricket and multi-sport based opportunities and educational programmes.
Cricket is part of the fabric of Yorkshire life. It brings communities together, improves health and well-being and provides new opportunities.
The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation will work closely with the Yorkshire County Cricket Club and the Yorkshire Cricket Board to maximise opportunities for all to participate, learn and benefit from sport.
The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation aims to:
- Increase community involvement in cricket and sport
- Enhance education of the Yorkshire community
- Improve social wellbeing and health
The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation is a registered charity (number 1130878) and is a company, limited by guarantee incorporated in England (number 06934670).
