Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions on ticket purchases from The Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

Tickets are issued on the condition that they are not sold for more than the face value of the ticket.
Tickets are only valid if presented complete with the counterfoil.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Yorkshire County Cricket Club Ticket & Membership Office will post out tickets to the users home address via 2nd class post and tickets will normally be sent out 3 weeks prior to the relevant match. However if the tickets have been ordered within 72 hours of the game taking place then the tickets will be available via collection ONLY from the Ticket Collection Point on match day.
  2. Tickets may be returned to the Club, with an explanation for the return in writing, up to 3 weeks before the respective game being played and the club will endeavour to re-sell these tickets on your behalf. In the event that your tickets are successfully re-sold a full refund of the face value of the ticket(s) purchased will be issued in accordance with the method of payment, less an administration charge of £2 per ticket sold. Any tickets received after this time can only be returned and refunded at the discretion of the Ticket Office Manager. If the Club is unable to re-sell the tickets they remain your property and no refund will be made.
  3. By purchasing any tickets through this on line facility you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed that such purchase is subject to the Ground Regulations established by Yorkshire County Cricket Club and the England & Wales Cricket Board from time to time. The ECB/Venue shall be entitled to refuse admission to any ticket holder in reasonable circumstances and shall give written reasons if requested. A copy of the full Ground Regulations currently in force is available on the official website of the Club www.yorkshireccc.com and is also available on application.
  4. Booking charges will not be refunded.
  5. If you wish to contact the Ticket & Membership Office about any issues with your order, then please call 0871 971 1222 (Office Hours: Monday to Friday 9:15am to 4:45pm). Please have your Client Reference or Booking Reference ready.
  6. Tickets shall not be resold (save as mentioned in (2) above and (7) below) and shall not be purchased or obtained from or through any person, commercial agent, company or otherwise than directly by the applicant from the ECB, Venue or its authorised agent. Any tickets advertised for sale will be void.
  7. If more than one ticket is issued to an applicant those tickets may be used only by the applicant and the person(s) intending to accompany that applicant to and at the Event. The provision of such ticket by an applicant to such person without payment shall not contravene (6) above.
  8. Any ticket obtained in breach of these Conditions shall be void and all rights conferred or evidenced by such ticket shall be nullified. Any person seeking to use a ticket obtained in breach of these Conditions in order to gain or provide entry to or remain at the Event will be a trespasser and will be ejected and liable to legal action.
  9. All Tickets sold remain the property of Yorkshire CCC at all times.
  10. Yorkshire CCC/ECB reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time. Where such change materially affects the rights of the purchaser, the purchaser will have the right to a full refund.
  11. In these terms and conditions: ‘the Club means' Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

Please take care with your tickets. Replacement tickets may only be issued under strict control and at the absolute discretion of Yorkshire CCC

A minimum charge of £5.00 per ticket will be levied for issuing replacement tickets.

BALLOT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Club cannot guarantee that tickets will be available in any particular stand. By entering the ballot each person is agreeing that the tickets secured can be in any Stand, including the alcohol free stand, and in any configuration. The Club cannot guarantee that the tickets will be seated together.

Each person may only enter the public ballot for Ashes tickets at the Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground once, albeit that such application may cover multiple match days. In the event that an individual places more than one entry into the ballot the Club will void the applications.

Each person may apply for a maximum of four tickets per day.

A booking fee of £3.00 will be applied to all transactions and this fee will be taken at the same time as payment for the tickets.

Junior tickets will only be available in the East Stand, Pavilion Stand, North East Lower Stand, Family Stand and North Stand.

Applications over the telephone or in person cannot be made but if you would prefer not to apply online please send a SAE to the Marketing Department, Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground, Leeds LS6 3BU and the Club will send a form in the post. Please return this form to enter the ballot.

Your information will be held for processing ticket applications and to enable The Yorkshire County Cricket Club (YCCC), the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and carefully selected third parties to contact you by mail, SMS, fax or email to notify you about products/services which may be of interest to you. If you do NOT want to receive this information please contact the YCCC Ticket Office at Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground, Leeds LS6 3BU.

You are entitled to receive a copy of the personal information held by us on request and to correct any inaccuracies in it. In the event of such a request, a subject access request fee of £10 will be levied.

REFUND SCHEME

DOMESTIC MATCHES – Twenty20 Cup only

If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, you may claim a refund of only the face value of this ticket subject to there being 9.5 overs or less because of adverse weather conditions. In no other circumstances can money be refunded. Claims for refunds are subject to a £2.00 administration charge per application. This will be deducted from your cheque therefore do not send any payment with your application. To claim your refund simply send this ticket, with the name of the payee, address and full postcode in block capitals, to A R D Response, Dept YCCC, PO Box 15, Earl Shilton, Leicester LE9 8WA within 28 days of the match date. There is no need to include an envelope. Please allow 30 days from receipt of claim for us to process your refund. For non-receipt queries call 01455 852201 (office hours Mon to Fri).

INTERNATIONAL MATCHES

REFUND SCHEME npower TEST SERIES

PLEASE NOTE THAT DAY 5 TICKETS ARE SOLD ON A STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE BASIS. IF THERE IS NO PLAY OR RESTRICTED PLAY FOR ANY REASON ON DAY 5 MONEY WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, you may claim a refund of only the face value of this ticket subject to there being: (a) no play because the match has been completed - a full refund; (b) 10 overs or less because of adverse weather conditions - a full refund; (c) 10.1 overs to 24.5 overs because of adverse weather conditions - a 50% refund. In no other circumstances can money be refunded. Claims for refunds are subject to a £1.40 administration charge per application. This will be deducted from your cheque therefore do not send any payment with your application. To claim your refund simply send this ticket, with the name of the payee, address and full postcode in block capitals, to A R D Response, Dept P909, PO Box 15, Earl Shilton, Leicester LE9 8WA within 28 days of the Match date. REFUND SCHEME NATWEST SERIES

If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, you may claim a refund of only the face value of this ticket subject to there being: (a) 10 overs or less because of adverse weather conditions and no result is obtained - a full refund; (b) 10.1 overs to 24.5 overs because of adverse weather conditions and no result is obtained - a 50% refund. In no other circumstances can money be refunded. Claims for refunds are subject to a £1.40 administration charge per application. This will be deducted from your cheque therefore do not send any payment with your application.
